Gardening with Farmer Fry

Help and learn in our garden as we grow a productive, multi-layered food forest. Activities vary and follow a natural seasonal cycle, from setting out transplants to collecting seeds. In June, we made (and threw!) “seed bombs.”

Search & Explore

Each week’s search and explore activity brings something new to look for.

June: rainbow scavenger hunt

July: book walk & egg hunt

August: X marks the spot: hide & find the stuffed animal using maps

September: dig for “treasure” & use what you find to make a collage

Create & Construct

Solve problems and express your ideas with a different hands-on project each month. We are sure to spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in young artists and builders.

June: stamp & roll - make your own wrapping paper

July: water play with movable gutters and waterways

August: sand art

September: recycled material and found object collages
