During the 2016/2017 school year, The Mayapple School will operate Monday – Friday according to our school calendar.

Families have a choice in sending their child either half days (8:30 am – 12 pm) or full days (8:30 am – 3 pm).  Students may attend 2,3,4, or 5 days per week.  Learn more about enrollment by clicking here.

We recommend that students attend at least three mornings per week in order to build relationships with other students, maintain a comfortable attitude towards attending school and sense of knowledge about routines, and participate in classroom projects. Attending for only 2 days may result in a longer and less smooth adjustment period versus attending for 3 or more. However, 2 days is an option for those whose schedule demands it.

The Mayapple School is an approved Child Care Service Provider and accepts Child Care Subsidy through Virginia Department of Social Services. While your subsidy may not cover the full cost of The Mayapple School, scholarships may be available to cover remaining costs. Please e-mail to inquire about scholarships.

Tuition is due by check on the first Monday of every month for the coming month. The supply and registration fee is due at the time of enrollment and is charged only once per school year.
